The European Union Film Festival is a unique cultural collaboration of EU Consulates and Cultural Institutes in Toronto featuring 24 Films from 24 EU Countries in 2011. Celebrating cinematic excellence with national and international award-winning Films, the Festival will be held exclusively at The Royal Cinema from November 17 –30, 2011. Seven years after the Festival’s premiere, the Festival is the largest European Film Festival in Toronto.

Participating EU Countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

 

Festival Goals:  

  • To present a Film Festival reflecting the excellence, innovation, and diversity of European cinema
  • To feature Canadian premieres of European films
  • To showcase national and international award-winning films
